Support to Help You Succeed
IvyCares is here to assist you with finding additional campus and community support throughout your academic journey. Sometimes called 鈥渨raparound services,鈥 IvyCares focuses on helping students connect with resources in the following areas: emergency transportation assistance, food security, mental health resources, technology assistance, and emergency aid funding.
Dear Ivy Tech Indy Students,
We wanted to share a few important updates regarding IvyCares services for Summer 2026.
As you may know, the North Meridian Center is not accessible this summer. As a result, the IvyCares Food Pantry and Clothing Closet will be closed during Summer 2026.
IvyCares has temporarily relocated to the Illinois Fall Creek Center (IFC), located at 2535 N. Capitol Ave., Room 166.
Although some services are limited this summer, students are still able to:
- Meet with the to discuss community support options for unforeseen circumstances or emergencies
- Need help connecting to resources? Reach out to IvyCares at Indianapolis-IvyCares@ivytech.edu
- Purchase IndyGo bus passes through the Bursar鈥檚 Office
The Bursar鈥檚 Office is located in IFC Room 134, and 31-day IndyGo bus passes are available for $47.50.
We also have a Share Shelf available outside the IvyCares office in the hallway near IFC Room 166. We ask that students please take only what they need so resources remain available for others.

Due to the temporary NMC closure, IvyCares will not have a Food Pantry for students to access during Summer 2026. We are planning to stock a "Share Shelf" for students (IFC 166).

础听Share Shelf is a self-service area where students can freely take or leave nonperishable food, personal care items, school supplies, or other essentials without an appointment or eligibility requirements.
It is designed for quick, anonymous access to immediate needs. We are trying to track usage and have a paper in the hallway asking people to draw a smiling face if they take items.听

Students experiencing an unforeseen circumstance and need assistance can reach out to the IvyCares Resource Coach. The Resource Coach will assist students identifying community resources to assist the student financially through the crisis . The Resource Coach can help the students organize the materials and complete applications for assistances in addition to finding financial support.

Students can purchase a 31-day IndyGo Bus pass for $47.50 (half price) through the Bursar鈥檚 office. The Bursar鈥檚 office is located in IFC room 134. To purchase a bus pass, you must be an Ivy Tech student in good financial standing with the college.
Students must have cash money to purchase the bus pass.
Ivy Cares may be able to assist with a ONE-TIME emergency bus pass if an emergency transportation issue occurs. Use the link to complete an

As part of a strategic shift in services, IvyCares at 51短视频 鈥 Indianapolis will be phasing out the Technology Loaner Program.
The final term for loaner laptops and hotspots will be Summer 2026, with services ending in August 2026. After that time, loaner technology will no longer be available for students to borrow.
Students are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and purchase a personal laptop as an essential college tool鈥攋ust like textbooks or notebooks. Many retailers offer student-friendly options starting around $300, along with 鈥渂uy now, pay later鈥 programs to make purchases more manageable.
To ensure you select the right device for your program, please review our below.
If you need short-term support before the program ends, you may still apply for loaner technology for the June 2026 term using the application link below.
