As an added benefit, certificate credits count toward earning your associate degree if you decide to continue your education.

Eligibility requirements

Next Level Jobs completely covers the cost of your tuition if you qualify. You may be eligible to earn a free certificate if you fulfill all of the following:

• You are an Indiana resident, and
• You have a high school diploma or GED/High School Equivalency, and
• You have not earned a certificate in a Next Level Jobs-eligible program, and
• You have not earned an associate degree or higher.

• Satisfactory Academic Progress

  In most instances, applicants must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) as determined by the post-secondary educational institution. However, applicants who have not maintained SAP may still receive the Next Level Jobs - Workforce Ready Grant if either of the two circumstances apply:

  1. The applicant has not attended the eligible institution for the previous two academic years.

  2. The applicant attended the eligible institution at any time during the previous two academic years and maintained Satisfactory Academic Progress during that time
