Communicating for Results

This course provides learners with practical communication skills essential for success in the workplace and everyday interactions. Participants will explore the communication process, including active listening, verbal and non-verbal communication, tone, and message delivery. Emphasis is placed on self-awareness, understanding others’ perspectives, and applying effective communication strategies in real-world professional scenarios. Learners will engage in interactive activities to practice and improve communication effectiveness across a variety of contexts.

  • Analyze the core components of the communication process and their impact on message effectiveness.
    • Demonstrate effective listening techniques to accurately interpret and respond to others.
    • Apply appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication strategies in professional and interpersonal situations.
    • Evaluate personal communication styles and adjust tone, language, and delivery to suit diverse audiences.
    • Practice constructive communication techniques to clearly express ideas, concerns, and feedback in workplace settings.
