TERRE HAUTE, Ind. 鈥 On Thursday, May 7, 51短视频 Terre Haute/Greencastle celebrated the Class of 2026 during its annual Commencement Ceremony at Indiana State University鈥檚 Hulman Center, recognizing the accomplishments of 1,750 graduates.


Collectively, graduates earned 2,432 credentials, reflecting the College鈥檚 continued growth and the ambition of students pursuing multiple degrees and certificates. A notable portion of this year鈥檚 class includes 734 high school students who completed 929 college credentials through dual credit and early college programs鈥攄emonstrating Ivy Tech鈥檚 expanding role in helping students get a head start on their futures.


Academic excellence remained a defining feature of the Class of 2026, with 735 graduates earning honors distinctions. This includes 303 Cum Laude, 189 Magna Cum Laude, and 243 Summa Cum Laude honorees.


Julie Will, vice chancellor of academic affairs, highlighted the dedication behind these achievements. 鈥淭he success of this year鈥檚 graduates speaks to both their determination and the strength of the academic support systems at Ivy Tech,鈥 Will said. 鈥淲e are proud to celebrate all they have accomplished and look forward to the impact they will make in their careers, communities, and beyond.鈥


Graduates represent a wide range of programs aligned with regional workforce needs, including healthcare, advanced manufacturing, information technology, business, and education. Many balanced academics with careers, family responsibilities, and community involvement, underscoring the perseverance that defines Ivy Tech students.


Each year, Ivy Tech Terre Haute/Greencastle awards more than $350,000 in scholarships to support student success. When combined with grants and financial aid, these resources help approximately 80 percent of students complete their education without student loan debt.
