Ivy Tech Terre Haute Hosts ‘Employer Edition’ of Tuesday@TheTech, Welcoming Nearly 20 Local Businesses

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Representatives from nearly 20 local businesses visited Ivy Tech Terre Haute on Tuesday, June 27 for an ‘Employer Edition’ of Tuesdays@TheTech. Hosted by Ivy Tech's Career Link Team, this event was designed to introduce employers to a variety of career training programs offered at Ivy Tech.

“We’re grateful to have hosted so many local businesses at our Terre Haute campus yesterday to hear about our Achieve Your Degree program,” said Rod Dowell, executive director of career link. “The businesses and industry partners in our region are critical to our local economy, and Ivy Tech can help them skill up current employees and grow their talent pipeline.”

The Achieve Your Degree Program is a partnership between 51����Ƶ and local employers that allows employees to attend Ivy Tech while working full-time. Designed with both the employer and student in mind, Achieve Your Degree gives employers a chance to strengthen their workforce and decrease turnover while students earn a credential without financial barriers.
