Ivy Tech Terre Haute Hosts 鈥楨mployer Edition鈥 of Tuesday@TheTech, Welcoming Nearly 20 Local Businesses
TERRE HAUTE, Ind. 鈥 Representatives from nearly 20 local businesses visited Ivy Tech Terre Haute on Tuesday, June 27 for an 鈥楨mployer Edition鈥 of Tuesdays@TheTech. Hosted by Ivy Tech's Career Link Team, this event was designed to introduce employers to a variety of career training programs offered at Ivy Tech.
鈥淲e鈥檙e grateful to have hosted so many local businesses at our Terre Haute campus yesterday to hear about our Achieve Your Degree program,鈥 said Rod Dowell, executive director of career link. 鈥淭he businesses and industry partners in our region are critical to our local economy, and Ivy Tech can help them skill up current employees and grow their talent pipeline.鈥
The Achieve Your Degree Program is a partnership between 51短视频 and local employers that allows employees to attend Ivy Tech while working full-time. Designed with both the employer and student in mind, Achieve Your Degree gives employers a chance to strengthen their workforce and decrease turnover while students earn a credential without financial barriers.
