叠尝翱翱惭滨狈骋罢翱狈听鈥 Ivy Tech Student Productions will perform the original play 鈥淎n Enemy of the People,鈥 by Henrik Ibsen, at the Ivy Tech John Waldron Arts Center on April 8-9 and 14-15 at 7:30 p.m. and a matinee performance on Saturday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.

In Ibsen鈥檚 play, a town doctor is labeled an enemy of the people after he tries to persuade authorities to shut down popular local spas that are using contaminated water. 鈥溾橝n Enemy of the People鈥 is frighteningly pertinent today with the water crisis in Flint, Michigan,鈥 said Paul Daily, director.

In this limited-seating play, Ivy Tech Student Productions will take audience members on a highly immersive ride through multiple rooms at the Ivy Tech John Waldron Arts Center. 鈥淚bsen was one of the fathers of realism in theatre, and this production embraces the idea of the audience being a fly on the wall.鈥

In addition to casting Ivy Tech students in the performance, Ivy Tech Architectural Design students designed some sets for the production. 鈥淚t taught the students real-life skills such as how to listen and respond to a client, how to solve problems around existing architectural needs, and how to work in teams around one concept,鈥 said Daily.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. Purchase tickets at聽.
