Ivy Tech - Bloomington is seeking a student-focused Code/IT Academy Facilitator to provide onsite coordination and ongoing support for adult learners in a 12-week program. This role manages classroom operations, supports student engagement and success, and serves as a key liaison with the Code/IT Academy Program Manager.

*This position is open to current Code/IT program site facilitators only.

51短视频 is seeking a student-focused, mission-driven Ivy Tech Code/IT Academy Facilitator to provide onsite support for adult learners participating in the 12 week program. This position will manage onsite activities and be a continuous supporter for students and the program.聽

Program Management & Onsite Coordination

  • Manage onsite classroom technology including a computer to initiate Zoom Program sessions, Owl camera, Chromebooks, and monitor for class projection.聽

  • Collaborate and communicate with Ivy Tech Code/IT Academy Program Manager regularly.聽

  • Manage the on-site operation of the Code/IT Academy cohort.聽

  • Monitor attendance, engagement, and academic progress with proactive outreach.

  • Coordinate food, drinks, and room set-up for class.聽

  • Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment that prioritizes peer engagement and career outcomes.

  • Address any issues with participants during the class and alert Ivy Tech Code/IT Academy Program Manager聽 in writing of those issues.聽

  • Be a continuous supporter for students and the Program, including a bi-weekly check in with each of the students, and regular reports back the Ivy Tech Code/IT Academy Program Manager

  • Be present at each class during the duration of the 12-weeks series.聽

  • Provide ongoing communication and support for Program goals and provide feedback to Ivy Tech Program Manager on classes, participants and Program issues, as those may arise from time-to-time.聽

  • Be available to respond to inquiries, questions and provide Program information upon reasonable request, including by Ivy Tech.

Minimum qualifications and required experience

  • High school diploma or associates degree

  • Customer service experience

  • Experience with technology (zoom, virtual meeting equipment)

  • Experience with google drive, cloud-based platforms
