COMPENSATION: $47.35/Contracted hour
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
鈼廎acilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
鈼廙akes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
鈼廌evelops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials. Maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
鈼廍ngages with students in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning and leads to a positive experience with 51短视频, shows evidence of developing and implementing active classroom teaching strategies focused on engaging students with their learning (curricular).
鈼廔nteracts with students and co-workers in a professional and cooperative manner, complies with College policies, campus guidelines and expectations.
鈼廍nsures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for classrooms, labs and all learning environments.

All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
RETENTION AND STUDENT SUCCESS
1. Provide academic-related coaching and academic monitoring to assigned student advisees in partnership with professional academic advising staff.
2. Monitor and document student performance throughout the semester, including use of technology for academic advising alerts; provide necessary interventions to include communication with students, tutoring and other academic supports, and referrals to appropriate college resources.
3. Maintain posted office hours and student engagement hours in accordance with campus expectations and the faculty loading policy in the Academic Support and Operations Manual (ASOM 7.2).
4. Promote and assist in student recruitment, retention, and successful completion of programs, including outreach to students by phone, technology tools, and other electronic means.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
鈼廋ompleted academic preparation appropriate to the course(s) being taught.
鈼廐olds an Indiana EMT or higher certification.
鈼廐as two years of directly related work experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
鈼廐olds an associate degree or higher in Paramedic Science or related field.
鈼廐olds an Indiana State Paramedic License
鈼廐olds an Indiana Department of Homeland Security Primary Instructor certification.
鈼廐olds an AHA Instructor certification in BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS.
鈼廐olds an NAEMT Instructor certification in PHTLS and/or AMLS.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction and meet faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 for the specific area(s) of instruction. Conducts all activities with an appreciation, respect, and promotion of diversity of people, styles, and views.
