Reports to the campus Vice Chancellor of Workforce and Economic Development, Ivy+ Career Link. Key collaborators: Career Coach, Talent Connection Managers, Employer Consultant, Program Manager, Office Assistant, Academic Advisors, Deans, K-14 Leads, Faculty and Systems Office Workforce Staff to develop work plans tied to college metrics and ensure services and products meet or exceed customer and campus metrics.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Partner with the Vice Chancellor of Workforce & Economic Development and Systems Office leadership to develop and execute campus workforce strategies, including proactive outreach, cold calling, and site visits to expand employer engagement across regional industries.
- Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with employers to understand workforce needs and skills gaps, and translate those insights into customized, demand-driven training and workforce solutions.
- Collaborate with campus marketing and communications to design and distribute employer-facing materials, digital content, and promotional campaigns that highlight Ivy Tech鈥檚 workforce and education solutions.
- Develop and maintain employer associations and sector partnerships that connect K-14 education, Ivy Tech programs, and industry partners to align credit, non-credit, and work-and-learn pathways with high-demand, high-wage careers.
- Use workforce and labor market data to design employer-centric strategies, identify training opportunities, and promote Certificates of Training or customized programs.
- Work closely with the Program Manager to ensure training logistics, employer contracts, and student participation are aligned with employer and campus outcomes.
- Support the Achieve Your Degree (AYD) program in coordination with the Vice Chancellor and AYD Coordinator.
- Represent Ivy Tech through participation in local business, industry, and workforce organizations.
- Assist in the creation and monitoring of work plans and metrics tied to employer, employee, and campus outcomes.
- Actively participate in weekly, monthly, and annual Ivy+ Career Link team meetings, summits, and retreats.

Minimum Qualifications:: Bachelor鈥檚 degree required; Master鈥檚 preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years related experience in in direct strategic and consultative sales required.
Demonstrated skills and abilities to concurrently manage numerous tasks, some with conflicting priorities required.
Must have excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to student learning outcomes and staff development.
Must be able and willing to travel to and from campuses and professional development activities.
Ability to work within an entrepreneurial framework and scale a large project required.
Valid License Required
Driving is an essential function of this position.聽 The incoming employee must hold a valid Indiana driver's license and complete the Driver Approval Form to obtain authorization from the Systems Office for operating any College-owned, leased, or rented vehicles as part of their job responsibilities.
