Position Summary: The Adjunct Faculty member in Building Construction Management is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in construction management and related courses. This position supports student learning by providing both theoretical knowledge and practical application aligned with industry standards. The adjunct instructor will engage students in areas such as project management, construction methods, safety, materials, and building systems while fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
鈥acilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
鈥akes optimal use of available technology to enhance instructional methods.
鈥evelops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials. Maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
鈥ngages with students in meaningful and productive ways that impact student learning and leads to a positive experience with 51短视频, shows evidence of developing and implementing active classroom teaching strategies focused on engaging students with their learning (curricular).
鈥nteracts with students and co-workers in a professional and cooperative manner, complies with college policies, campus guidelines and expectations.
鈥nsures knowledge of and implements emergency and safety procedures for classrooms, labs and all learning environments.
This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list. Other duties logically associated with this position may be assigned. All responsibilities will be conducted within the parameters of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), other applicable regulatory requirements, and professional standards.
Compensation:$47.35/ Contract hour on an as needed basis
Minimum Qualifications:
Must have strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction and meet faculty credentials as outlined in the ASOM 7.1 for the specific area(s) of instruction. Conducts all activities with appreciation, respect, and promotion of diversity of people, styles, and views.
A qualified full-time faculty member meets the education component of the School of Advanced Manufacturing, Engineering & Applied Science discipline standard through one of three routes:
鈥ossesses an earned baccalaureate or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution in technology, engineering, engineering technology; or an earned baccalaureate or higher degree directly related to the program鈥檚 discipline, and
鈥ossesses any specialized certifications required for the class being taught as indicated in the Curriculum of Record (COR), and
鈥wo years of directly related work experience that is specifically linked to the competencies listed in the Curriculum of Record (COR);
or
鈥ossesses an earned baccalaureate or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution And, possesses any specialized certifications required for the class being taught as indicated in the Curriculum of Record (COR), and
鈥ive years of directly related work experience that is specifically linked to the competencies listed in the Curriculum of Record (COR);
or
鈥ossesses an earned associate or higher degree, from a regionally accredited institution directly related to the program鈥檚 discipline, and
鈥ossesses any specialized certifications required for the class being taught as indicated in the Curriculum of Record (COR), and
鈥hree years of directly related work experience that is specifically linked to the competencies listed in the Curriculum of Record (COR).

- Transcripts and/or relevant certifications/licenses required at time of hire
